'Ollie the Octopus' Youth Art Activity
Youth Art Education

In partnership with the Alaska State Museum, volunteer artists and scientists, Olli the Octopus was created for the Children’s Discovery Room. The base of Olli was created by museum staff Aaron Elmore from reused materials to highlight the problem of ocean debris.
Tanna led youth of varying ages to create undersea themed art that was later mounted into the suckers of the Octopus sculpture.
